"After nearly five years away, Norwegian artist and architect Tarjei Ekelund returns with "It’s ____ Okay", a deeply personal EP shaped by his recovery from burnout. Balancing full-time work in Oslo with fatherhood left Tarjei drained, but the journey back to feeling okay inspired five new songs. Mellow and melancholic, they explore loneliness, self-criticism, love, and loss, shifting from earlier electronic beats to a quieter, more down-to-earth sound. From “Amazing,” an ode to embracing imperfection, to “Paranoia,” where memories refuse to let go, each track underscores that it’s okay not to be okay. The EP was mixed by Jens Müller, and mastered by Zino Mikorey. Photographer Maximillian König brings it all to life in music videos documenting Tarjei’s introspective, piano-packed road trip along Norway’s southeastern coast. The new EP "It’s ____ Okay" is available digitally on all major music platforms."
