Garreth Broke

Life Through Loss

"Life Through Loss" is the new album by pianist and composer Garreth Broke. Deeply informed by the composer's personal experience of bereavement and his work as a volunteer ‘Trauerbegleiter’ (grief companion), the album offers a nuanced exploration of grief in all its complexity—embracing both pain and hope. Through evocative piano compositions, Garreth distills not only his own evolving grief for his mother but also the shared stories of those he has accompanied through loss. "Life Through Loss" stands as a compassionate and insightful tribute to anyone who has experienced grief, inviting listeners to find solace and meaning within their own journeys.
